This is one of my favorite places in the Bergen area. For the price and how good the food is, you really can't complain. I always get the Combo C. It actually a while ago used to be $20, but the price has increased. Now it's $22.99 so it's still such a great price and the portions are huge so you can definitely comfortably share between 3 people. Everything in the Combo C is standardized, except you can choose between tomato or cream pasta and I would definitely recommend the cream! It's delicious. The fried chicken and the sauce that they make with it is amazing! That's definitely my favorite part of the combo, but the fried rice is so good and the other noodles that come with the combo as so good as well. I always tell my friends about this place and have come here many times and will definitely be back!
They don't take reservations which is the only downside as usually there is a 15-20 minute wait during peak eating times, but it's worth the wait!
If you have leftovers, don't forget to ask for the sauce that goes with the chicken to take home!! -

Such a great spot for late night eats! Bunsik Nara is open until 12AM so it's perfect for my late night dinners.
I've been here a handful of times and have gotten something new each time and have never been disappointed once. Service is always quick - they greet you the moment you step foot inside and if they're not busy they point you straight to your table. The place isn't that big so I can see it being hard to get a table during rush dinner hours but that's never been an issue with me. Their decor is nice and clean - the place is brightly lit. It's really cute and nothing too fancy.
Now onto the food - I've tried their Combo C (scallion chicken, fried rice, pasta) and it was delicious. Just the right portion to be shared between two hungry people. Their portioning for their foods are gigantic. I remember getting a curry dish with katsu and I could have it for lunch, snack, AND dinner. It was delicious though so I would definitely order it again - plus the price for everything is always right. The only thing that I wouldn't get again from them is the kimbap - too dry and lacks flavor.
Parking isn't too hard for late night but once again it is only street parking so keep that in mind during "rush" hours.
I'll definitely be back in the future to try more of their menu items!

When the craving for Padak strikes, we come to Bunsik.
For those not familiar, bunshik's version of padak is fried chicken chunks with a load of thinly sliced scallions on top with a sweet and zesty sauce.
We get the combo c, which comes with padak, a mound of veggie fried rice and pasta.
Pasta choice is limited to tomato or cream pasta, but catch them in a good mood and they'll let you mix the sauces - although I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate me telling this to all of yelp cause they're always huffing and puffing with excuses when I ask for it. Oh well.
I used to think it was pretty good back in the day but either my taste buds are bougier than ever or they've been steadily slacking. Either way, I was pretty disappointed last time. -

When I came here for the first time, I thought this place was overrated. I ordered their kimbap, ddeokbokki (spicy rice cake), and ramen just like what I would at a typical Bunsik restaurants. They were relatively pricey and weren't that good either.
However, some of my friends who live in Bergen told me that this place is known for their Combo C. This combo item includes boneless fried chicken wings with scallion, fried rice, and tomato/cream pasta. This combo definitely deserves to be known especially with their huge portion. I would say this can feed 3-4 people. Don't be fooled by the picture, it's actually really big. -

A place known for their COMBO C, I have yet to try it because of these 2 dishes - Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) and Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cake)!! I have only been here a handful of times and EVERY single time, I order either or, or both. Their portions are HUGE for the price paid and great to share with friends. Both dishes are delicious and my personal favorites!
